Our goal is to restore, improve, and maintain both physical and emotional balance, using kind, effective treatments that prioritise the comfort and well-being of your companion. We are committed to delivering the highest standard of care with the utmost respect for your pet, ensuring their journey to health and happiness is as positive and nurturing as possible.
Veterinary Physiotherapy
Veterinary Physiotherapy can be used to support animals through times of postoperative care, musculoskeletal impairment and neurological dysfunction, as well as providing maintenance, conditioning and performance enhancement.
A comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics with injury and disease physiology allows Active Balance to provide an in depth assessment with an effective treatment and exercise plan to achieve attainable outcome goals.
Treatment techniques can be used to reduce pain, rehabilitate movement and function, improve quality of life, reduce the risk of injury and elevate overall athletic performance.
Referral/Consent
Active Balance legally requires a referral/consent form to signed by your veterinarian prior to appointment, for both land and water based programmes. This can be emailed or bought to your initial appointment. We must have this consent in order to be able to proceed with initial consultations.
If you require more information about this procedure please call the centre.
Veterinary physiotherapy assessments and treatments can only be undertaken with veterinary referral/consent. Please contact us for more details.
Referral forms can be downloaded here for your vet to sign.
